Our apologies for any problems you are having adding the widget. First thing to check is to make sure you don't have any of the app stored on your SD, as sadly the widget will not work if the app has been moved to SD. You should be able to verify this in your device settings, then apps, then MyFitnessPal. If you do have it stored, please remove it.
To then enable the widget hold down on the Android home screen until a menu pops up. Once the menu pops up one of the options should be “Apps and Widgets”. Please select this and swipe till you find MyFitnessPal 4x2, then press and hold on the MyFitnessPal widget. The current version includes calories left, the barcode shortcut and add food icon (+).
