Hello,
Starting around 5pm on Wednesday, 1/13, our team noticed a few of our services in a degraded state. We have been making changes to address these services to get them healthy again, but over the last couple days are still seeing intermittent spikes, causing sluggishness and trouble with data syncing in the program. We are continuing to actively monitor these services to address these issues as they arise. Currently, our members are experiencing minimal or no related symptoms.
Symptoms related to this issue include, but are not limited to, the following:
- delays in sync of data logged between web and apps
- general sluggishness across the website and apps
- steps from partners delayed or not syncing
- Fitbit data not syncing or syncing slowly
For members experiencing issues with Fitbit sync, we do not recommend unlinking and relinking the two programs. This will put additional sync requests in the backlog and increase the amount of time it will take to process the backlogged sync requests.
Our apologies for these continued issues. We are working hard to get them resolved as soon as we can. We will continue to monitor the situation overnight, and update this post as more information is available.
