This article shows you how to recover your forgotten password or username using the MyFitnessPal app or website. You’ll need to enter your account email to get a reset email with your username and instructions to change your password. If you don’t receive the reset email, the article also explains where to find help.
You can reset your password and get a reminder of your username. To log in, please use your email address and password instead of your username. Here’s how:
iOS and Android
- Open the MyFitnessPal app, and tap where it says Log In.
- Tap Forgot Password.
Web
- You can visit our forgotten password page.
Next, enter the email address linked to your account. We’ll send you an email with your username and steps to reset your password. Your new password should be at least 10 characters long. Make sure it’s unique, complex, and not used on this or any other site.
After you reset your password, use your email address and new password to log in. You won’t need your username to sign in; it’s just for your reference. Always enter your email address and password when accessing your account.
