This article explains why MyFitnessPal asks you to verify your email address. It also walks you through resending the verification email on iOS, Android, and the website.
Why MyFitnessPal asks you to verify your email
Verifying your email address gives you two benefits:
- Password reset emails: We can send you a reset email if you can't access your account.
- Notifications that reach you: A typo in your email can send your notifications to someone else. Verifying prevents that.
