This article explains how foods are added to your Recent and Frequent lists automatically and how you can remove items from the lists if needed.
Your most-logged foods deserve a shortcut, and MyFitnessPal builds one for you automatically.
How foods are added to the Frequent list
Foods are added to your Frequent list automatically, based on how often you log them to your diary. As you log items, they'll appear on the list once you've logged them frequently enough. There's nothing special you need to do to make an item show up.
How to remove items from your lists

- Go to your Recent or Frequent lists by tapping Log on your Today page next to your meal, or by tapping the plus button (+) at the bottom of your screen.
- Swipe from right to left on the item you want to delete.
- Tap Hide when it appears.

Frequently asked question
Does removing a food from Frequent also remove it from the database?
No. It only affects your personal Recent and Frequent lists, not the food itself.
