Where can I find Meal Planner?
Meal Planner is available to users with a Premium + subscription in the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. To access Meal Planner you will need to have your device language set to English, running app version 25.10.0 or higher. At this time, the Meal Planner is not available on our website.
You can find Meal Planner by downloading the MyFitnessPal app and heading to the "Plan" tab at the bottom of your home screen.
How does Meal Planner support my health and nutrition goals?
Meal Planner will support you in achieving your health and nutrition goals by taking the guesswork out of what to eat. Whether you're looking to eat more protein or less takeout, Meal Planner will create a custom plan that suits your needs. Currently, our Meal Planner supports plans targeting at least 1,200 calories for women and 1,500 calories for men.
What types of Diets does Meal Planner support?
We offer meal plans based on 10 different diet preferences including: low-carb, vegetarian, paleo, balanced, pescatarian, flexitarian, keto, Mediterranean, whole-food focus, and vegan.
Will Meal Planner account for my food preferences and allergies?
Yes! Your meal plans will be fully customized to your food preferences and allergies so that you'll only receive recipes with the foods you love. We'll also ask you about your favorite cuisines to optimize your culinary experience.
Can I easily log meals from my Meal Plan to my Diary?
Yes! Meal Planner was specifically designed to fit seamlessly into the MyFitnessPal experience. With one click you can easily log your meals to your MyFitnessPal food diary to keep track of your daily macros and calories.
Can I get my groceries delivered to my Doorstep?
Yes! We've partnered with several grocery delivery services to make shopping for your meals a breeze. (Note: Delivery services will vary depending upon your location.) You'll also have the option to shop in store yourself if you prefer.
MyFitnessPal Premium+ users in the United States can currently sync their Meal Planner grocery list to the following shopping apps:
iOS: Instacart, Walmart, Kroger, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods
Android: Instacart
We will update this list as more grocery integrations become available.
Can I customize my Meal Plan?
Yes! If you're not a fan of one of the recipes populated for you in your meal plan, you'll be able to swap it out for another recipe that better fits your needs.
How does the Meal Planner affect my existing MyFitnessPal Goals?
The Meal Planner may suggest different calorie and macro goals based on your selections during setup. You can adjust these to match your existing goals or choose to follow the new recommendations.
Can I Meal Plan for multiple people?
During the initial set up and in the Meal Plan settings, you will be able to enter the amount of people in your household that you will be planning for. Meal Planner will account for their preferred cuisines, dislikes, allergies, portion size, and the Meals that they'll be sharing with you.
How can I adjust my Meal Plan if my goals or preferences change?
You can make adjustments to your Meal Plan by visiting the settings page of your Meal Plan. To find this, tap "Plan" at the bottom of your screen, then tap the Gear Icon in the upper right hand corner. On this page you'll see where you can edit your calorie and macro targets, dislikes, allergies, cuisines, diet approach, and much more!
Why do my logged foods from Meal Planner not have a timestamp?
At this time you can manually update the timestamp for foods logged from Meal Planner via your diary.
