Where did the passcode lock feature go?
Passcode Lock, the four-digit pin you’ve been using to access MyFitnessPal, will no longer be available for use starting in early March 2022.
This means that when you open MyFitnessPal, you will now be directed immediately to your home screen. This update will require no further action from you and will not have any effect on other features in the app.
Why did you get rid of the passcode?
Passcodes aren’t a widely used feature in our app. At the time when the passcode lock feature was developed, it was meant to provide enhanced security features to our users. These days, devices have more sophisticated native features and integrated features, such as Face ID and fingerprint unlock. Removing the passcode feature from our application helps us simplify the application and focus on streamlining the user experience.
