This article explains what Quick Add is and how to use it on iOS, Android, and the website.
Sometimes you just know the number and don't need to hunt down the exact food. Quick Add lets you log calories directly, no search required.
Quick Add is not the same as Quick Log. Quick Log lets you tap a plus sign next to a searched food to log it instantly. Quick Add skips search entirely and lets you enter a calorie amount (and optionally macros) directly. See our article on Quick Log if that's what you're looking for instead.
Premium subscribers can also record macronutrient values (fat, protein, carbohydrates) in their Quick Add entries. When the Track Net Carbs setting is on, you can also enter dietary fiber and sugar alcohols. See our article on Premium features for the full list.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Premium to use Quick Add at all?
No. Basic calorie-only Quick Add is free. Premium adds the option to include macros and Net Carbs details.
Can I edit a Quick Add entry after saving it?
Yes, the same way you'd edit any other diary entry.
Can I add a label to Quick Add calories?
We'd love to allow labels for Quick Add calories, but unfortunately it's difficult for us to do so for technical reasons. At present, many of our users add notes in the Food Notes section as labels for their Quick Add calories.
