This article explains what's included with a MyFitnessPal Premium subscription, including faster food logging, more control over goals, and deeper nutrition insights. It also covers how Premium works across devices and how it differs from Premium+.
A Premium subscription adds new options to MyFitnessPal's robust feature set, increasing the app's customizability and flexibility. Everything you've accumulated in your MyFitnessPal account will stay just as you've built it: friends, favorite foods, diary history, but many new features are added to the mix, and some existing features get additional enhancements.
Premium is available on our website and in the latest versions of our iOS and Android apps. Your subscription provides you with Premium features across all three platforms.

Why do I not see a Premium feature that is listed here?
A few features are limited to certain devices, countries, or languages. Check the note next to the feature above. Updating to the latest version of the app also helps, since new features roll out gradually.
Does upgrading change the data already in my account?
No. Your friends, favorite foods, recipes, and diary history stay exactly as you built them. Premium adds features on top of what you already have.
