Install the MyFitnessPal app on your Apple Watch

- Tap Install.
MyFitnessPal can take several minutes to appear in the Watch app's available apps list after you update the iPhone app.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't my Apple Watch active calories match MyFitnessPal?
MyFitnessPal reads step data and Other workouts from Apple Health, but doesn't yet factor in active calories your watch measures separately. Your watch's total calorie burn may not match the total MyFitnessPal reports, and that's expected.
Why is my exercise labeled differently when it syncs to MyFitnessPal?
MyFitnessPal has to match that workout type to an exercise name in our own database. You can review our help center article for Apple Watch workout names and how they sync to MyFitnessPal.
What should I do if my Apple Watch app won't sync?
Close and reopen the Apple Watch app to process any unsynced data. You can also tap More > Sync in the MyFitnessPal iPhone app. Contact support if a step count or workout still doesn't appear correctly.
Do all my Apple Watch workouts sync to MyFitnessPal?
Yes, as long as you have the latest iOS app version and have completed the Apple Health linking process. Some workouts sync under a specific exercise name, while others appear as Apple Health App Workout. Duration and calories burned stay accurate either way.
