For someone who tracks what they eat, it can be just as important to know what time they ate that meal as well. MyFitnessPal Premium offers our users the ability to track when they ate their food using our Food Timestamps feature! This feature allows users to learn how when they eat can impact their energy, workouts and more. Currently, this is only offered on our iOS and Android apps. Please use the links below to learn more about the feature.

How do I access Food Timestamps?
To access Food Timestamps, you first need to ensure that the feature is turned on. To do so on our iOS and Android apps:
- Tap the more button (iOS) or drop down menu (Android) > Settings > Diary Settings > Enable "Show Food Timestamps"
How does Food Timestamps work?
Once enabled, you will see the feature when you log your next meal! On the Add Food page, a "Time" option will show with the closest current time. If you tap "Time" on iOS, you can adjust the time depending on when you ate the item. After logging the item, a time will display just above the entry logged. Multiple items that are logged with the same time will be grouped together.
When you tap "Time" on Android, the screens will look differently but users will still have the same options including the ability to "Edit Time".
You can adjust the time after you log a food by tapping the timestamp in the diary or selecting the food entry you wish to change.
*** Please note: Food Timestamps will not be respected if you are using the Multi-Add feature. However, once the entries are logged you can edit the times using the steps above. Additionally, the ability to select and drag entries in your diary is also not supported when Food Timestamps are enabled ***
