You can edit or delete your remembered meals to keep them up to date. Editing meals is currently available in the iOS and Android apps, with a workaround available for web users.
How To Edit a Meal:
iOS:
- Tap the More menu
- Tap My Meals, Recipes & Foods
- Then Meals
- Select the meal you wish to edit
- Tap Edit
- Now you can adjust, add, or remove food items as needed.
- Save
Android:
- Open the Menu bar (three horizontal lines in the top left)
- Next, tap Recipes, Meals & Foods
- Then Meals
- Select the meal you wish to edit
- Tap the three dots on the top right
- Select Edit Meal
- To add items - tap on the blue plus (+) at the bottom
- To edit items, tap the pencil at the top
- Select the items you want to remove
- Then tap the trash can
- Save

If you use the website, you can try this workaround:
- Go to our website: www.myfitnesspal.com
- Log in to your account. If you use the mobile app, log in with the same email and password you use there
- Click on the Food tab
- Click the Meals sub tab
- Select the meals you wish to log
- Then click Add Checked
- Make any necessary changes or additions.
- Once you have finished logging your meals, click Quick Tools
- Select Remember Meal
- Click the green Replace an Existing Meal button
- Select the meal name you wish to overwrite. The selected meal will be replaced with your edited meal
How to Delete a Meal:
iOS:
- First, tap the More menu
- Next, tap My Meals, Recipes & Foods
- Then tap Meals
- Swipe the item from right to left to show the Delete button, then tap Delete
Android:
- Open the Menu bar by tapping the three horizontal lines in the top left
- Next, tap Recipes, Meals & Foods
- Then tap Meals
- Tap the three dots in the top right, then tap Edit
- Tap the pencil icon at the top of the page, then check the items you want to delete
- Tap Delete (the trash can icon)

- Click the meal you want to delete
- Then click Delete Selected Meal
